Live Shows! Coming Soon!
Hello all!
Glad to be able to let you know about several different shows I'm involved in this month. Hope to see you!
Life Stories: A Cabaret
The show involves a multi-generational cast including many favorites from the VIllage Players who will tell stories from their lives illustrating them with music taken from the American songbook, Broadway, the Blues and beyond. Hope you can come...I'm telling a few stories that I have not told many people...so I'd love to see a few friendly and familiar faces in the audience!
Where: Village Players Theater in Oak Park, 1010 Madison St, Oak Park, Ill
When: Saturday March 8 at 8pm and Sunday, March 9 at 3 pm.
Our Director Jack Crowe promises: "this show will be shaken and notstirred." For tickets visit village-players.org or call (866)764-1010.
Artemisia: From Tragedy to Triumph
There are some great Artemisia opportunities coming up. For those of you who haven't seen the show in the more intimate format, please take the opportunity to come see us. The visuals as well as the narrative have changed and have created an even richer and more compelling story about the life and work of Artemisia.
February 26th, Tuesday at 7:00 PM Lake Forest College, McCormick Auditorium 555 N. Sheridan Lake Forest Illinois
March 2nd, Sunday at 2:00 PM Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Avenue Evanston Illinois
March 4th, Tuesday at 7:00 PM Kenosha Public Library, Southwest Branch 7979 38th Avenue Kenosha Wisconsin
Please check out Linda's website www.lindamsmith.com to read more about Artemisia Gentileschi and listen to Linda's compelling music that tells a beautiful story of Tragedy to Triumph.
Thanks to all of you for your continued interest in supporting live music!
